Construction and Features of the Posturepedic Ivy Glenn Mattress

The coils are the key to the support this mattress provides.  Sealy offers either standard titanium SS or advanced titanium DSx coils that provide enhanced support at the bottom of the coil.  The DSx coils are a good choice for heavier sleepers or those who enjoy firmer support. You’ve also got a choice of standard LiftRight bar handles or the upgraded LiftRight Surround handle that gives more lifting options.

Standard on all Sealy Posturepedic Ivy Glenn mattresses is the Posturepedic CoreSupport Center. It uses more coils in the middle horizontal third of the mattress for better support where it is needed most. The SitRight edge is firm, providing more support for getting in and out of bed. It’s firm and flexible without being rigid. It allows for safe and comfortable sleep right to the edge of the mattress.

The Sealy Posturepedic Ivy Glenn is a firm mattress, making it one of the most affordable in the Posturepedic collection.  It is offered in 8 different sizes: Twin, Twin XL, Full, Full XL, Queen, Split Queen, King and California King. The mattress is 9.75” thick. The set comes with a standard box spring but an adjustable foundation is also available that offers remote control movement.

  1. This is not a bed, it is a torture rack! My shoulders and hips hurt after spending just two nights on this medieval device. An inflatable bed from Walmart is far better value. You buy this bed for a guest room if you don’t like having guest.
